Files and products
Which products do you support?
The standard service supports business cards, postcards, flyers, sell sheets, rack cards, posters, flat invitations, and simple brochures. More complex products are reviewed before acceptance.
What is the maximum file size?
The standard upload limit is 500 MB unless otherwise arranged.
Do you accept native Adobe files?
Not through the standard service. Submit a production PDF. Native-file work may be quoted separately.
Do you support packaging or labels?
Not in the standard launch service. These products may require specialized structural, color, barcode, or finishing review.
Corrections
What is considered a safe correction?
Examples include page rotation, page-box cleanup, external crop-mark removal, annotation cleanup, and certain PDF-standard conversions.
What requires approval?
Examples include proportional scaling, RGB-to-CMYK conversion, spot-color conversion, transparency flattening, and overprint changes.
Can you create missing bleed?
Simple missing bleed may be corrected during Prepress Rescue when existing artwork supports a safe extension. Complex photographic or design reconstruction is not included.
Will you replace missing fonts?
No. Font substitution may alter the design and is not performed without a separate design scope.
Delivery and timing
How are finished files delivered?
Through a secure download link.
Are files emailed as attachments?
Production files are generally delivered through secure links rather than email attachments.
How long are files retained?
Default retention is 30 days unless another arrangement is confirmed.
Can I request rush service?
Yes, subject to availability and file complexity.
Liability and quality
Does a passing report guarantee print results?
No. The report confirms that the file meets the selected review scope. Final results also depend on production equipment, materials, finishing, and operator setup.
Do you check spelling and content?
No. Prepress review does not include proofreading or content verification.
Do you provide color matching?
No. Screen appearance and file conversion do not guarantee an exact press match.
